Today's guest is Dustin Heiner, a successful real estate investor, host of two very successful podcasts, and author of several books on rental properties.
Dustin once worked in the county government in California. At the time, there had been some rumors that there could potentially be layoffs due to budget cuts. He'dvbeen there for 14 years, so he just dismissed the possibility of him getting laid off.
Little did he know that the day his boss called him into his office, he would lose his job just like that. Imagine your shock if, after years of service in the government, you were suddenly fired.
Dustin realized one thing once he got out of the cycle of a 9 to 5: nothing is permanent in this world. From then on, he vowed that he would never again get confronted with the possibility of losing a job and worrying about his family's future.
So, Dustin set his mind on building his own business. He is now generating passive income from rental properties and living his dream life while mentoring others on becoming successful real estate investors.
